At Ban Island, we cut out the “middle person” – there is no complicated authentication process costing you 10-40% commission – so you save time and money. Our platform offers you 100% transparency on bags that are available and who you can connect to within our circle of friends – making the process as safe and efficient as possible.
Like many other social media platforms, it’s about who you know and your mutual friends. Each of our VIP users are invitation-only, and have a minimum of two real-life endorsements.
We also leverage technology by keeping track of known scammers, and patrolling our community to ensure profiles are real and connected to active and legitimate social media presence. VIP members are vetted by monitoring their track records, endorsements and social media activities.
The Basic plan is for casual buyers – to research, create a want list, try out colours with our Visualizer tool and connect with members, albeit with limited messaging features.
The VIP plan is tailored towards serious buyers and sellers, or people who are lucky enough to be offered a Horseshoe Stamp/Special Order (HSS/SO) bag from Hermès.
VIP members can “HAVE” a bag, sell their coveted bags to others, message unlimited people, use all of our visualizer tools including the HSS/SO options. You also have priority ranking and notifications so you will never miss a deal.

Absolutely! Our team is working hard to add new bags each week. Sign up and you will be notified of new additions every month. Feel free to email us about a bag you want us to add.
Yes! You have an option to join us monthly or yearly. You can change or cancel before your next billing cycle (i.e., the next month for monthly plan holders, or the next year for annual plan holders). If you need to change your plan, just contact our team two days before your next billing cycle and we will be happy to help.
We currently charge in U.S. dollars (USD) and accept multiple worldwide credit cards through a secure processing system.
